In the last few years Zermatt has become the No. 1 Swiss alpine resort for summer and winter holidays. It is a unique car-free village offering the splendour of the highest alpine peaks and the sporting and leisure facilities of an international resort.

We make choosing your chalet or apartment in Zermatt easy. Let us know your number of guests  and your arrival dates and we will send you an offer with various choices which you can then view on our website. Booking well in advance (especially for winter) enlarges your choice tremendously.

Having chosen your accommodation, you can then decide on transportation. If you are flying, we list you the closest airports and can book your taxi pick-up door to door. If you travel by the excellent Swiss Rail Service, we can send you links for discounted bookings. You may enjoy driving out from the UK with a stop in France on the way.

If you choose a winter stay, we assist in booking ski lessons, chalet catering services etc which should all be organized before arrival in Zermatt.

On arrival in Zermatt you will be met personally by one of our team and accompanied to your accommodation in an electric taxi . A bottle of local red Valais wine and welcome provisions greet your arrival.  After having signed in, you receive a Zermatt information pack with helpful hints and suggestions for your stay. This includes hiking suggestions (summer and winter), excursions by cable-car to the peaks, our favorite mountain restaurants and shopping ideas to help you spend your Swiss Francs.

Stays from 3 nights with a suggested programme for 2 full days are on offer from June until October. Weekly stays include suggestions for 2 full-day hikes (with packed or restaurant lunches en route) and 4 half-day hikes or excursions and a visit to the alpine museum where a history of British climbers’ ascensions in this area is well documented.

For small groups (up to 15) in addition to a daily hike, we offer other activities which include : Wine-tasting/visit to wine area down the Rhone valley, joga, bird-watching (in June), summer skiing on the glacier, introduction to climbing and crossing glaciers on foot, helicopter flights around the Matterhorn, paragliding, tennis at 1600m, excursions over the Simplon Pass to one of the Italian lakes (combined with a real Italian market)……………
